IMPORTANT INFORMATION - A full course is considered 6 treatments, each of which are completed every 3-8 weeks depending on the concern and skin being treated. It is important that before undergoing any skin needling treatment, clients must have their skin prepped and be on the correct corneotheraputic products, supplements and treatments which have been either approved or prescribed by Aurora Beauty Bar for at least 4-6 weeks. If you aren't sure, please book in a skin consultation prior to your needling appointment.

By adhering to these guidelines, we are ensuring that we are safely and effectively treating the skin. We reserve the right to decline skin needling treatments to those deemed by us to be unsuitable.

Aurora Micro-Needling Pack $2550

A customised all-in-one approach to your needling sessions to get the absolute BEST results! After your skin is prepped and you are ready for needling, we will integrate our LED therapy and gentle enzymatic facials around your needling treatments. This is to both prepare and energise the cells for a perfect wound healing response, and then to help remove redundant cells coming to the surface of the skin, resulting in well functioning little skin cell factories!

Your first booking will be an LED session, we can then make subsequent bookings from there!

LED Light Therapy

 

LED stands for Light Emitting Diode, in this treatment we utilise 3 specific wavelengths (red, blue and near-infrared) which have been found to penetrate the skin, stimulate skin cells and treat a variety of skin conditions in a painless, non-invasive procedure!  For best results, a treatment plan of 12 sessions over a 4-6 week period is recommended, with monthly/bi-monthly maintenance if desired.

Cosmetic Tattoo

 

Semi-Permanent Tattoo treatment lasting 1-5 years  between touch-ups depending on skin and lifestyle. Perfect for those with little to no eyebrows or those who are regular tinting clients and want something longer lasting.

Ombre Powder/Shading Brows $499

Approx 2.5hrs | Including consult, mapping, colour swatching, tattoo and aftercare.

Tattoo machine is used to shade in brows to give a soft tinted look once healed. Suitable for most clients, best for those with sparse hairs, filling in gaps and all ages and skin types. Includes 4-6 week touch up and aftercare product.

Nano Hairstroke Brows $599

Approx 2.5hrs | Including consult, mapping, colour swatching, tattoo and aftercare.

Similar look to microblading/feathering but a machine is used instead of a blade causing less trauma and scarring to the skin. Suitable for select clients, best for those with fuller brows wanting to give a fuller look, filling in gaps and younger normal-dry skin types. Includes 4-6 week touch up and aftercare product.

Combination Brows $599

Approx 2.5hrs | Including consult, mapping, colour swatching, tattoo and aftercare.

Combines Powder and Hairstroke techniques. Suitable for select clients, best for those with "tadpole/90s brows" where the bulb is a lot denser than the tail, medium - full brows wanting to give a fuller look, filling in gaps and younger normal-dry skin types. Includes 4-6 week touch up and aftercare product.

Ideally, no numbing will be used as it can affect the results. If you are wanting numbing, you will have to supply and apply your own. Contact your gp for a script or purchase from the chemist.

You will not be eligible for this procedure if you are:
• Pregnant or breastfeeding
• keloids or if you have a tendency to keloid
• Diabetic
• Serious diseases such as cancer, epilepsy, autoimmune disorders (doctor's note is required)
• Circulatory disorders (doctor's note is required)
• Any bleeding disorders (doctor's note is required)
• You're taking blood-thinning medication
• Currently on Accutane or other strong retinoids (must wait until 6 months after treatment ends)
• If any skin diseases symptoms or irritation appears on the area
• You've recently had Fillers/Botox or Disport treatment (must wait 2 months)
• Old PMU (must book consult first to see if I can go over the area)
• Have broken capillaries in the eyebrows area
• If you have a sunburn
• After chemical peels (must wait two weeks)

Before your appointment:
• Do not take Aspirin, Fish Oil, Niacin, Vitamin E and/or Ibuprofen or blood thinners, unless medically necessary, 72 hours prior to your procedure.
• Do not drink coffee, alcohol or energizing drinks on the day before and of the procedure.
• Do not tan or sunbathe 30 days before and after the procedure.
• If you get your eyebrows waxed, threaded, or tinted, please have this done at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled procedure.
• Do not have any chemical peels,
microdermabrasion, mesotherapy, or any other intense treatments which will cause faster skin cell rejuvenating and cause skin irritation 3-4 weeks before the procedure.
• Wash your hair before the procedure

General rule: 45min = 1 week or touch-up, 60min = 2 weeks, 75min = 3 weeks, 90min = 4 weeks. This is a guide only, each individual will need different times, or can book based on what time they have available eg.in a lunch break.

A $10 booking fee is payable for each booking to secure that time slot. This booking fee is transferable if you are needing to reschedule your appointment for up to 24hrs before your booking time (please contact me to reschedule because the online system will automatically try and charge you this fee again). If you cancel or reschedule within 24hrs of your appointment, the booking fee will be forfeited. The booking fee is not refundable under any circumstance. This fee will be taken off the total amount owing upon payment of the completed service. In the event of a "no-show" 100% of the service will be charged. This will be automatically deducted using the card used at the time of booking.
